Why we began？
Many of today’s smart audio glasses are developed by tech companies that simply embed an audio module into a pair of frames. As a result, these glasses often end up being bulky and awkward, more like oversized Bluetooth speakers that hang on your ears, and they usually come in just one size. Because these companies lack a deep understanding of eyewear, they fail to appreciate the nuances of creating glasses. Unlike typical consumer electronics, glasses are worn for long periods, so lightweight comfort and a stylish appearance are essential.
Why us?
SANGSTRE, established by Whooping Crane Group in 2020, Whooping Crane once founded the bone conduction glasses brand vocalskull and is a pioneer in the smart glasses industry. Vocalskull’s first glasses, Alien, were developed in 2015 and launched in 2017.
Whooping Crane's R&D team is composed of experienced electronics engineers, acoustics engineers, and seasoned eyewear engineers, ensuring a well-rounded expertise in both technology and eyewear design.
Challenges
We’ve redefined smart audio glasses by first creating a highly integrated audio module and reengineering its placement within the frames to effectively manage weight. SANGSTRE’s exclusive BulletStrip™ interchangeable system makes it easy to swap out the front frames. With varying frame widths and adjustable nose pads, our glasses are designed to fit a wide range of head sizes comfortably. Additionally, different lens options cater to both indoor and outdoor use, ensuring versatility for any situation.
